Exciting MTB in Pomporovo and lunch at Bogutevo Village
Leaving Pamporovo after a visit in the candy store buying chocolate bars to fill up our energy. On the descending paths we get high speed on the mtb and the warmth in the air is like silk on the skin. With lot of grovel on the descending paths the best technique to keep the balance is to have a low body position, spread the elbows and knees and keep the eye sight up and scan your way forward. Lower the saddle and keep the bum positioned behind it for a better grip on the back tyre.
Along the narrow street on the mountain side is Bogutevu village, there are only a few houses and a local restaurant were some elder people drinking coffee. There are always surprises when finding these small family restaurants in remote mountain villages. From the friendly manager we had fresh cow milk that was good but tasted a bit sour. The green jalapenos was served in a glass of water. Arriving to the town Chepelare with around 5000 inhabitans famous for it’s ski area and ski factory.
